Return Policy and Legal Notice:
The following return policies will apply to all purchases made from “ecoConnect”, its agents or employees, including all internet purchases through eco-connect.com, eco-connect.org, Green in the City, or through “ecoConnect’s” Cvent ticketing platform (collectively, hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”). The terms of the return policy will vary depending on the category of the item purchased and in the event that you purchase multiple items, each item will be governed by the category that it falls under. This language shall be made a material part of any transaction involving Seller acting in the capacity of a wholesaler or retailer to a customer, purchaser, buyer, successor in interest, their invitee, assignee or end user of any third party (collectively, hereinafter referred to as “Buyer”).
Event e-Tickets Return Policy & Legal Notice
All purchases of seminar, debate, workshop or other event e-Tickets are final at the time of the sale and may not be returned or exchanged and no refunds will be issued. All e-Tickets are valid only for the date of the event, or in the event of a postponement, cancellation or delay, the e-Tickets are valid only for the new date of the event. In the event that an event is rescheduled it is the responsibility of Buyer to ascertain the new date of the event by viewing the “ecoConnect” website, or by calling +44 870 803 3581. In the event that e-Tickets are misdirected, or the event is rescheduled, no new e-Tickets will be issued. In the event that an event is canceled and no new date is set, a full refund, less shipping and handling, will be issued. Seller shall have no liability for any injury occasioned or suffered or any liability incurred as a result of Buyer traveling to, participating in, consuming food and or drink at or returning from any event promoted by or otherwise affiliated with Seller. In the event of any claim or dispute arises from any purchase made from Seller the Buyer or any item or event related thereto, both parties agree that all such claims and disputes must be submitted to and governed by binding arbitration submitted to an arbitrator in the United Kingdom and Ireland and the laws of the United Kingdom and Ireland shall govern. In the event that any part of this policy shall be held invalid by any arbitrator or court, that item shall be read and interpreted in the manner which would be legally valid having the meaning closest to the actual language and spirit of the policy and all other provisions shall remain valid and in full force and effect. In no event shall Seller be liable to Buyer or any third party for anything in excess of a full refund of the initial sale price of the transaction which would give rise to any such claim. This policy may be amended from time to time in the sole discretion of “ecoConnect” and no variance from these policies will be honored unless it is in a writing of “ecoConnect” from the above address or in hard copy.
Merchandise Return Policy & Legal Notice
Any books, clothing, apparel or other similar items purchased through from Seller may be returned within 14 calendar days from the date they are shipped by Seller, or its designated agent or vender if the item is unused and in the same condition that it was in at the time it was shipped by Seller. Return postage shall be at the expense of the Buyer. In the event that an item is returned in compliance with this policy, the Buyer will receive a full refund of the merchandise purchase price, excluding the cost of shipping and handling or may be exchanged for a different size, based on the request of the customer. All refunds will be in the form chosen by the Seller, and in most cases will be in the same form as the initial payment. Any refund due for an order paid for in whole or in part by check will likewise be refunded by a check issued no sooner than thirty (30) days from the date that the item is returned in order to allow for the initial instrument to be presented and honored by the Payor bank. Buyer hereby releases Seller from any claim, loss or liability occasioned as a result of the purchase or use of any merchandise purchased by Seller. Buyer acknowledges that Seller makes no claims, warranties (either express or implied), or representations as to fitness for a particular purpose about any product which Seller offers for sale and Buyer, to the extent allowed by law, waives any claims or rights to same.
