Thanks James. Great Idea. We're not set up for broadcast, but you might consider joining the ecoConnect LinkedIn group and posting it there. Bout 1000 executives on line, you might get traction there. RH

Hi

I am just a normal 56 year old granddad with a few ideas of my own on how to really help progress in green energy. I have started a petition for the government to act.
It says:

Free solar panels for every home in the UK
Responsible department: Department for Energy and Climate Change
I would like to propose a debate with regard to the government using many of the empty factories to manufacture and install free solar panels to all homes in the United Kingdom using long term unemployed who are desperate to get back into work. The solar panels could produce 50% of the homes electricity needs, leading the way to replace gas as the reserves run dry. Any energy sold back to the grid could be used in helping to cover the manufacturing costs, and as materials would be sought on such a large scale the costs should in fact fall considerably, bearing in mind the governments run solar panel factories would be a non-profit scheme. Please sign and help apply a common sense approach to our energy needs for the future.
I would be grateful if you feel this is within the boundaries of your believes to ask members to add there names using this link: http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/17012

Many thanks for your time,

Kind regards
James Paddon.
